Singleton`s Rosettes and Trophies is a Social Enterprise that works in partnership with the Charity ‘Every Link Counts’, an organisation that supports young people with learning difficulties. Every Link Counts exists because many people affected by a disability find it difficult to be included into the mainstream of society. The aim is to support young people with learning disabilities to access mainstream social and leisure activities in their own communities. Many young people with a learning disability have little opportunity to mix with other young people. This results in them becoming isolated and dependant on services and their families. Members of Every Link Counts have an equal opportunity to realise their aspirations in whatever they choose to do. Having confidence in their own ability to achieve their goals in life. They take part in diverse activities within the community using leisure centres, cinema etc.. As a social enterprise, Singleton`s will help to finance the activities the charity provides. In addition we aim to provide work experience and employment opportunities for those Members who are interested in working on the project.
