Pete Doherty, who is usually making headlines for the wrong reasons, brings his band Babyshambles to Newcastle as part of their first Arena Tour.

They will be appearing at the Metro Radio Arena on Friday 23rd November 2007 to coincide with the autumn release of their new album.

The name Babyshambles, comes from the famous 80's tipple Babycham. Babyshambles are Pete Doherty (singer/guitar), Adam Ficek (drums), Drew McConnell (bass) and Mick Whitnall (guitar).

The band's debut album, Down In Albion, spawned two top ten hits with F**k Forever and Albion. In February 2006, Babyshambles were nominated for several NME awards with Doherty winning the Sexiest Man Award.
