Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds will be visiting 11 cities across the UK with an improved version of the groundbreaking technology featured in the 2006 production, making the 2007 tour both bigger and better !!
Jeff Wayne returns to conduct The Black Smoke Band and Strings. Moody Blues lead vocalist Justin Hayward returns to reprise once more his role as The Sung Thoughts of the Journalist. Also featuring alongside are special guests Alexis James, Chris Thompson and Sinéad Quinn, plus featuring again the theatrical wonder of Richard Burton as George Herbert, The Journalist.
For the 2007 tour, the production will be boasting a raft of exciting new features including new innovative technology by Californian company EON Reality, who will create a new Richard Burton head with 3D holographic imagery - aiming to take the replication even further than last year's tour and to set the bar for all theatrical technology in the future.
Since the album's original release in June of 1978, 'Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds' has grown into a true classic; garnering a new generation of devoted followers whilst still inspiring the faithful listeners from the past decades.
