Hard-back, red cloth covered boards with blue, black and gilt pictorial decoration to front and spine; black blocked line dec. to back. Pictorial end-papers. green dec. to title page. This is the 25th annual volume. 20cm x 28cm. / Imperial 8vo. 824 pp. 12 colour illustrations, a few of these are fold out and one of these is by Cecil Aldin but this has feint remains of pencil lines drawn around the outlines of the figures. Also, hundreds of others in half-tone and b/w drawings by the 'most popoular artists of the day.The covers are intact though the hinges are cracked. Many pages are loose and there are a few repairs. Inscriptions to recto. frontis., which is a fold-out reproduction of 'Back from The Indies' painted by C.M.Padday, exhibited at the R.A. in 1901. Several other of the illus. are R.A. paintings. There is a double page of text missing; P819-822. Though this copy is a bit tatty in places, the covers are bright and it is in: Fair to Good condition for its age.
