26th - 28th March 2010 St. Nons West Wales

The picturesque St. Nons Retreat Centre, set on the edge of the Irish Sea in emerald Pembrokeshire, near the historic small city of St. David's in southwest Wales. The famed 185 mile Coastal Walking Path runs by the front door and ancient standing stones keep watch nearby among the sea pinks. Near by is the Holy Well of St. Non which tradition says sprang up at the birth of St. David, and is regarded as one of the most sacred wells in Wales. The water is considered to have healing and miraculous powers.

This spectacular retreat house stands on the cliffs overlooking St Nons bay with breathtaking views of the sea, having an exceptional atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. This Retreat House is a working sanctuary for those living a Monastic life in the Christian Traditions. The energy built over the centuries gives this place a precious healing atmosphere. Next to the house is the Chapel of Our Lady and St Non built in 1934 from the stones of St David's home and other ruined pre- reformation chapels in the area, a lovely place to sit for a while in contemplation.

The workspace is lovely, with an attached private chapel, or the large lawn, weather permitting, gives perfect space to practice Yoga. Accommodation is in twin rooms with shared bathrooms. Only two single rooms are available on a first come first serve basis. A comfortable lounge with hot drinks available at all times gives a place to rest and make friends when not working or walking. The food is lovingly prepared and is vegetarian.

Take this space - you will be glad that you came.
