St Non’s is a Yoga Retreat that also includes a bit of a ‘holiday’. We not only practice all the wonderful things that Yoga can give us but we also take time to walk on the cliffs, to sit by the sea and to go on a trip to Ramsey Island to see the seals. We begin the Retreat sitting in the tiny, charming Chapel in the gardens; a space of peace and calm. Outside we can see through the door the beautiful sun going down over the sea. Here we commune with the wide spaces, and rest in nature.
Our daily practice begins early in order to enliven and awake the body and mind. Early morning Yoga sets us up for the rest of the day. It encourages a happier healthier day. After breakfast we practice our Yoga again either outside overlooking the sea or inside the lovely chapel that is our Yoga room. After lunch we rest, walk, sleep, read or go for a trip to the Island. Our evenings are a joy, calm breathing, restful laughter and stories to encourage the heart and mind to a wider and happier perception. If you wish for time with yourself, space in this Retreat Centre is for you. It is a lovely space, come and try.

Friday
Arrive after 4.30 p.m. time is given to find your surroundings and settle in.
7.30 p.m. Dinner
8.15 p.m Introductions and Meditation
Daily Program
6.00 a.m. Meditation and chanting. This includes 15 minutes led chanting and 15 minutes sitting.
6.30 a.m. Asana and Meditation. This is a physical stretch followed by walking meditation.
8.00 a.m. Breakfast
9.00 a.m. Karma Yoga (working contemplation). This is working silently on the land or in the house or kitchen; working towards being in the present moment.
10.15 a.m. Yoga session; Asana, meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises).
1.00 p.m. Lunch – silent. Then Rest time
3.30 p.m. Pranayama – walking – meditation
5.00 p.m. Tea time
7.00 p.m. Evening Meal
8.15 p.m. Evening session.
