Meditation, approaches to spirituality and the Self is a way of life here at the Abbey; a wonderful place to stay and look within. When you arrive you approach your accommodation down a long pathway through leafy trees, entering a space of calm and refection, entering a space to renew yourself.
The programme of this Retreat is a concentrated, focused one. Practicing being present in the moment, personal presence with all that we are today. We work to be aware of the plants, trees and yourself in the moment. The Retreat is a place for YOU. Meditation, and chanting takes place in the wonderful minstrels gallery. This hall was designed for sound, and chanting is wonderful here. This is a lovely place to be, just an hour and a half from Cardiff and one hour from London. Come, practice and spend time with YOU, a space from the world, and a space from responsibility, a space to recoup your energy and leave feeling awake, calm and ready for anything.

Friday
We arrive after 4.30 p.m. and have time to settle in
7.00 p.m. Dinner
8.15 p.m. Introductions; meditation and chanting.
Saturday
6.00 a.m. Meditation
6.30 a.m. Early morning Yoga.
8.00 a.m. Breakfast
9.00 a.m. Karma Yoga. This is your opportunity to share in the work of the Retreat. In silence we help with preparing lunch, working outdoors in the garden or what ever is needed. This is a precious time of calm.
10.15 a.m. Main Hatha Yoga session
1.00p.m. Lunch and Space to rest or walk the River Thames.
3.30 p.m. Breath work and relaxation.
5.30 p.m. Space to walk or rest.
7.00 p.m. Dinner
8.15 p.m. Meditation, Philosophy andor weather permitting a bonfire
10.00 p.m. Bedtime
Sunday
Sunday as Saturday till lunch; after lunch a short leaving session.
3.00 p.m. Travel home.
