18th - 20th July 2008 @ Lam Rim Buddhist Centre

Lam Rim is a refuge for the heart and mind.

Once again we are at Lam Rim this wonderful venue has an atmosphere of calm and tranquility that affects you as soon as you arrive. You will begin to relax immediately. Mary has run weekends here for many years and this is a popular destination. Take your place and be glad you come.

As you walk up the gravel path towards the manor house peace descends. This weekend we will work with this wonderful beginning to soothe your heart, calm your mind and strengthen your body as we practice Yoga. You will practice dynamic Yoga, walk on the Meditation walk, sleep, rest, relax, feed the heart and soul. After the evening meal, there is an opportunity, not compulsory, to sit and chant with the community members. If we are very lucky Geshe (the head Monk) will spend time with us were we have a question and answer session. This is a precious and rare opportunity for us all. Take this space if you can. You will be glad you did.
