To know and understand yourself in the world we live in is difficult, we all have so many balls in the air at once. The family and work take up so much of our energy, often we are so busy that we forget who we really are. We have to be Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, worker, cleaner, gardener, the list is endless.
A Yoga Retreat gives you time to stretch your body, expand your breath, relax, meditate, find quiet and find laughter. It is a time to take a break from being the person everyone else expects you to be including yourself.
We think we relax when we watch television or read a book but this is not really deep kind of relaxation. These things keep the mind ever active.
