Drive to Edinburgh Airport in 20 minutes and the Royal Yacht Britannia in the port of Leith with many sea food restaurants in about 15 minutes. Free car parking is available for all guests motor vehicles in our front driveway during their stay at Sandilands House. By Road We are on the main A90 Road from Edinburgh to the North and West via Edinburgh Airport. The road is called Queensferry Road and Sandilands House is at the city end between Orchard Road and Queensferry Terrace By RAIL Both rail stations, Waverley and Haymarket are only a short taxi ride away. Or from Waverley station; walk from Hanover Street for a 41 or 43 bus to the stop after Stewarts Melville College. By AIR Edinburgh Airport is 20 minutes by road to Sandilands House or a £13 taxi fare. Take the A8 to the city, at the Gyle roundabout continuestraight to the traffic lights at the Maybury Junction. Turn left at the Maybury Roundabout, observe the Casino on your left as you join theMaybury Road A902. Go straight on to the next junction, BarntonRoundabout, and turn right on to Queensferry Road.
